Staff Accountant
Job Summary
Prepares and manages a company’s financial records to help keep track of profits, assets, and potential tax liabilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepares monthly balance sheets
 - Prepares profit and loss income statements
 - Files state and federal taxes
 - Sets up and reconciles new bank accounts
 - Confirms that payments are charged to the proper accounts
 - Manages payroll and customer accounts
 - Reconciles all cash disbursement accounts
 - Assists tax auditors, when necessary
 - Maintains and makes recommendations for company accounting software
