Job Summary
Hired by a family to provide care for children inside the home and provide related household chores.
Primary Responsibilities
- Watches the children and provides supervision both in and outside of the home
- Provides care for the children, not limited to changing diapers, feeding, and entertaining them
- Completes common household chores, such as cooking and cleaning
- Transports the children to and from school
- Helps children with their homework
- Runs errands, including grocery shopping
- Adheres to the wishes of the parents
