We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience indeveloping and writing winning proposals for clients inthe healthcare staffing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the proposal lifecycle, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to convey complex information in clear, persuasive content tailored to the target audience. You will join a small, experienced team that supports all Aya Healthcare brands, with opportunities for cross-training and collaborative growth.

Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and edit high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other solicitation types
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), business development, and technical teams to gather necessary input and ensure accuracy
• Review and interpret proposal requirements and ensure compliance with all submission guidelines
• Develop content for executive summaries, past performance, technical approaches, resumes, and management plans
• Maintain and update proposal content libraries and templates
• Participate in proposal planning meetings, kick-offs, and reviews (color team reviews)
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and delivering high-quality work
• Proofread, format, and ensure consistency across all proposal documents

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proven success winning proposals
• MUST have 5+ years of experience writing proposals in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of the proposal development lifecycle and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe and SharePoint.
• Innate aptitude for problem solving
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Incredible work ethic
• Strong motivation to achieve results and meet goals
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency

Preferred but not required:

• Experience responding to federal and state RFPs
• Experience with proposal management tools (e.g., Responsive - formerly RFPIO)
• Experience following AP Stylebook guidelines

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be$33.65 to $38.46hourly, which equates to$70,000to $80,000annually.
