City of Hope Medical Group seeks a Medical Oncologist specializing in breast cancerto join our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute as we seek to hire a full time medical oncologist specializing in breast medical oncology to join our Duarte team. Seeking research and mission minded physicians as every discovery we make and every new treatment we create, gives people the chance to live longer, better, and more fully.
Position Highlights:
Join our nationally-recognized team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncology specialists as we seek to hire a full-time clinician to:
  • Clinical responsibilities to include mostly outpatient and some inpatient treatment with a focus in breast cancer with the opportunity to provide optimal treatment outcomes with compassionate patient-centered care
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement plan (no match requirement)
Qualifications:
  • Some years of experience as an academic breastcancer oncologist with excellent clinical skills desired
  • Be well versed in the state of cancer care and the latest research and innovations
  • The ideal candidate must participate in clinical research relevant to breastcancerand demonstrate a commitment to research as shown by submission of publications and presentations on international and national stages
  • Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree, fellowship trained, and Board certified/eligible
  • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
Salary Range: $300K - $500K - The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
