Section Head, Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology to join our prestigious Kellogg Cancer Center within the Division of Hematology/Oncology. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a dynamic, collaborative team of sub-specialty based physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and other specialty trained clinicians, all dedicated to a multidisciplinary approach that places each patient at the center of a personalized treatment plan.

Position Highlights:

  • Program Leadership: Spearhead clinical program development and operations for the GI medical oncology program.
  • Innovation & Quality: Drive clinical research, safety, quality, and innovation efforts.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated division of 27 subspecialized physicians (including 4 other GI medical oncologists), supported by Advanced Practice Practitioners and collaborative nurses.
  • Partnership in multi-specialty clinics, system wide tumor boards (HPB, foregut and colorectal), and GI Oncology research

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship trained and board certified in medical oncology.
  • Proven experience in program development and growth.
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of research and/or quality improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Previous experience in recruiting physicians highly desirable.
