CONMED is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Human Resources leader to partner with business leaders across the organization. This role is critical in driving talent strategies that support growth, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and performance in a dynamic and evolving environment. As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing expertise in talent management, employee relations, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. You will help shape culture, coach leaders, and ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. This position is located on-site in our Largo, FL office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational objectives, ensuring workforce plans support current and future business needs.
- Leadership Coaching: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee-related matters.
- Talent Management: Lead talent review, succession planning, and development initiatives that build leadership capability and promote a high-performance culture.
- Employee Relations: Partner with leaders to address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent application of policies and employment practices.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that strengthen engagement, inclusion, retention, and the overall employee experience.
- Change Management: Support organizational changes and business transformation efforts through effective communication, planning, and leader enablement.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, organizational capabilities, and development opportunities that support future growth.
- HR Analytics: Leverage workforce data and insights to identify trends, mitigate risk, and inform talent and organizational decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and/or SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise: Demonstrated experience in employee relations supporting a sales team, talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
- Influence: Proven ability to build strong partnerships, influence leaders at all levels, and drive results in a matrixed environment.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how people strategies support and accelerate business performance.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing business needs.
- Bonus Points: Experience in medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
