Compensation: $85K-$105K DOE + Exceptional Benefits and growth opportunities

Location: Martinez, CA - On-Site with local travel

BBSI has partnered with a well-established and growing, mission-driven human services organization in the East Bay that is looking for an experienced Human Resources & Talent Manager to take ownership of its internal HR and talent function.

This isn't a role where you'll simply administer HR processes.

You'll be the organization's hands-on HR leader, partnering directly with the CEO and playing an important role in recruiting, employee relations, training, compliance, performance management, retention, and continued organizational growth.

Reports directly to the CEO | No direct reports

What You'll Own

Full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition

Onboarding, orientation and credentialing

Employee relations and supervisor support

Training, certifications and compliance

Performance management and employee development

HR policies and personnel records

Employee engagement and retention initiatives

HR metrics, workforce trends and people analytics

Coordination with the organization's PEO, HR consultant and outside resources

Who We're Looking For

• We're looking for an HR professional with 3+ years of progressive experience who is comfortable being both strategic and hands-on.

• Experience in human services, developmental disabilities, behavioral health, home care, community-based services, or another regulated environment is highly desirable.

• You'll thrive in this position if you're organized, approachable, confident handling employee relations, knowledgeable about California HR practices, and naturally look for solutions and improvements rather than waiting for direction.
