FUNCTION: The Chemical Line Helper will assist the Chemical Line Operator in order to immerse aerospace parts into applicable tanks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES: Understand, adhere, and demonstrate to the company's commitment to QUALITY and SAFETY! Assist Crane operate crane while adhering to safety regulations and wear nonnegotiable PPE such as hard-hat, safety shoes, gloves and safety glasses at all times Requires hand manipulation including simple grasping, pushing and pulling materials Assists in cleaning and racking of parts by using wire to tie to the line Chromic acid Anodizing Sulfuric Acid Anodizing Boric/Sulfuric Acid Anodizing Chromate Conversion Coating Cleaning and Etching Aluminum and Titanium Passivation Understanding and proper use of applicable procedures, specifications, work instructions, etc. Ensuring all equipment and materials are maintained in good working order and reporting any discrepancies to the production supervisor. Meets all production and quality standards Work in team environment and follow instructions and assist others as needed Maintain regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule Perform daily housekeeping daily/6S activities as required Work OT and weekends as needed Will be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, odors, and temperature variations Perform other duties, as assigned Note: This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
