Position Title: Machine Operator II
Wage: $26.40/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Machine Operator II Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Meet the requirements of the Vision Statement and Guiding Principles - Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes harmonious relationships among customers, clients, co-workers and supervisors - Develop, interpret, and ensure the consistent application of organizational policies - Maintain safe work environment by managing adherence to company safety policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices - Independently setup and operate all of the following machinery small mechanical press brakes and small mechanical punch presses, deburring machines, straightener, large shear, cold saw, drill table, hand bender, spot facer, Wysong Brake Press, Durma Brake Press - Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications - Read parts lists, blueprints, and drawings - Perform all required routine and minor maintenance activities according to company procedures - Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Machine Operator II Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Previous related experience is preferred - Able to read blueprints, tape measure, micrometer, square, and protractor - Able to operate hand tools and perform data entry on computer - Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals - Able to successfully pass forklift certification - Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
