About the Role

Love bringing complex events to life? As a Meeting Manager, you'll lead high-impact meetings and events in the Life Sciences industry, where compliance, precision, and seamless execution matter every step of the way. You'll be the go-to planning partner for clients, juggling multiple programs while keeping timelines, budgets, attendee experiences, and vendor coordination on track. It's a fast-paced, detail-driven role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships, and making every event feel effortless.

You're Good At

• Managing full-cycle meetings and events, from registration and planning through on-site execution, in a highly regulated, deadline-driven environment
• Keeping multiple program timelines, budgets, and stakeholders organized without missing the details that drive success
• Partnering with clients to deliver smart, compliant, and cost-effective solutions that support high-touch VIP and stakeholder experiences
• Handling attendee communications, website coordination, travel logistics, and housing management with professionalism and accuracy
• Building strong vendor and client relationships while staying calm, flexible, and solution-oriented when priorities shift
  
  

You Might Also Have

• Experience supporting Life Sciences, pharma, clinical, or congress-related meetings where compliance and accuracy are essential
• Confidence managing convention registration, society housing allocations, and strict participation deadlines
• Strong budget ownership skills, including reconciliation, invoice tracking, and communicating financial updates clearly
• A knack for leading cross-functional meetings and keeping teams aligned in a structured, fast-moving environment
• On-site event experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and VIP guests

• This role is virtual and operates on Eastern or Central Standard business hours
• This role requires 20% - 25% travel annually

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Meeting Manager - Life Sciences Industry is between $60,000 - $80,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
