About the Role

If you love matching clients with the perfect venue, negotiating smart deals, and keeping fast-moving event details on track, this role might be your sweet spot. As a Venue Sourcing Consultant at BCD M&E, you'll lead sourcing, contracting, and budget support for meetings and events while serving as a trusted partner to clients. You'll juggle multiple priorities, think strategically, and help deliver great experiences without losing sight of savings, compliance, or deadlines. It's a high-impact, client-facing role for someone who knows how to stay sharp, collaborative, and cool under pressure.

You're Good At

* Sourcing hotels and non-hotel venues, building RFPs, and presenting strong options that align with client goals, budgets, and timelines
* Negotiating contracts, concessions, and added value while managing risk and keeping compliance top of mind
* Managing multiple projects at once and staying organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Building trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams through clear communication and a consultative approach
* Keeping budgets, savings data, commissions, and Cvent records accurate from kickoff through final turnover

You Might Also Have

* 3-5 years of venue sourcing and/or hotel conference management experience
* International sourcing and contracting experience across a variety of program types
* Strong working knowledge of Cvent, Excel, Google Workspace, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, and Apple iOS
* A knack for innovative, strategic thinking and turning client needs into practical sourcing solutions
* A bachelor's degree, though it's not required

You Should Know

• This role is virtual, operating on Eastern or Central Standard business hours
• Annual travel, up to 25%, is required

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:Less than 25%

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Venue Sourcing Consultant is between $60,000 - $85,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
