Communications Specialist IV

Spectra Tech, Inc. is currently hiring for a Communications Specialist IV in Los Alamos, NM.

Responsible for a wide variety of internal and external communications activities, strategic and tactical, conceptual and deliverable. Attains measurable results and improves continuously.

An expert who:

• Applies broad and deep experience and demonstrated expertise while consistently exercising good, and frequently independent, judgment.
• Effectively develops objectives and strategies and has considerable success persuading others to adopt them.
• Works on unusually sensitive or complex issues and offers and applies solutions that are highly effective.
• Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets.
• Is virtually self-supervisory, often initiating his or her own assignments.
• Produces work products that generally require no significant rework.
• Actively enhances management and leadership skills while consistently exhibiting desired traits.
• Excels at giving and receiving coaching and constructive criticism.

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At this level, postgraduate coursework may be expected.
• Typically requires at least 12 years of related experience.
• Graduate degree or postgraduate coursework may be expected
