The Branch Manager will manage the Retail department while driving business development, customer relationship management, operational excellence, and sales performance. You will plan, organize, and administer all branch activities, lead branch initiatives, and partner with internal departments to support the Bank's overall success and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The level of this position will be determined by skill level and experience of applicants.


How you will accomplish this:
  • Develop, implement, and execute business development strategies and the branch sales plan to increase branch growth, customer acquisition, and profitability
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the branch team in building customer relationships, expanding business opportunities, making referrals, and achieving branch sales and growth objectives
  • Exercise decision-making authority regarding customer service exceptions, operational issues, overdraft requests, returns, and other branch matters within approved limits and Bank policies
  • Resolve complex customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective problem resolution
  • Serve on Bank committees, special projects, and strategic initiatives as assigned, contributing operational expertise and supporting organizational goals
  • Participate in product development initiatives and evaluate branch processes by providing branch expertise, workflow recommendations, and customer feedback to improve operational effectiveness, risk management, and the customer experience
  • Lead and actively participate in networking events, community organizations, and business development activities to promote the Bank's products and services
  • Assume other responsibilities as requested/needed
What you will bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of prior branch and branch staff management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong working knowledge of bank operations and products; knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
  • Proven track record of generating sales referrals and ability to coach/mentor team members to generate sales referrals
  • Strong knowledge of business associations, trusts, estates, and related legal and liability risks
  • Strong proficiency in banking applications and computer systems; proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and management skills, including team building and leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
