In this role, you'll lead Steelcase's social media ecosystem, helping ensure content, thought leadership, customer stories, and brand narratives reach the right audiences at the right time. You'll combine strategy, audience insights, performance analytics, and reputation management to drive meaningful engagement and measurable business outcomes while leading the continued evolution of Steelcase's social media capabilities.

You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
  • Developing and activating social media strategies that increase visibility, engagement, and authority across Steelcase's social media ecosystem.
  • Leading organic and paid social media initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, campaign objectives, and audience needs.
  • Monitoring audience behavior, social listening insights, brand sentiment, and share of voice to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to amplify thought leadership, customer stories, research, and brand content through the most effective channels.
  • Managing agency relationships and paid social activation efforts while ensuring programs are executed effectively and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Reporting performance results and audience insights to stakeholders, translating data into recommendations that improve engagement, reach, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Coaching and developing the Social Media Specialist while helping build scalable processes, audience strategies, governance practices, and future-ready social media capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, audience engagement, brand marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing social media strategies within a B2B, enterprise, or complex organizational environment.
  • Experience managing both organic and paid social media programs, including campaign planning, activation, measurement, and optimization.
  • Experience using social media management, listening, analytics, and reporting platforms to evaluate performance and inform strategy.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, agencies, or external partners to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and Instagram as strategic business and audience engagement channels.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working within B2B marketing environments; experience in workplace, commercial interiors, design, architecture, technology, research, or professional services is preferred.
  • Experience supporting thought leadership, executive visibility, brand-building, and audience engagement initiatives through social media.
  • Experience leveraging social media management, analytics, audience intelligence, and social listening platforms (such as Sprout Social, Meltwater, Brandwatch, Hootsuite, HubSpot, or similar tools) to inform strategy and improve performance.
  • Experience supporting reputation management, community engagement, agency partnership management, audience targeting, and paid social measurement.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to improve audience insights, reporting, workflow efficiency, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Previous people leadership experience, coaching experience, or a demonstrated interest in leading and developing others.
