Known for its clean surgical environment, strong team retention, and high patient experience scores, the unit fosters a collaborative culture where Patient Care Technicians work closely with nurses to provide exceptional patient care. PCTs play a vital role in supporting patient recovery through activities such as vital signs, mobility assistance, post-operative monitoring, admissions, and discharges. Team members enjoy self-scheduling, a fair floating rotation process, and a supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork, communication, and professional growth, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their clinical skills and pursuing future nursing careers. This position is afull-time Day shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
