As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Badge Operations in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, parking areas, entrances, ATMs, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, patrols, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
