As a Security Guard Armed - School Response in Rock Hill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. You will build positive relationships with students, staff, and visitors while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $20.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established school district protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of school buildings, parking areas, athletic facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or policy violations, and communicate observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Maintain required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
