Description and Requirements

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to join our Global Supply Chain organization as the CSP Customer and Manufacturing Quality Engineering Manager. This role combines the strategic management of two key pillars: the customer-facing Engineering Quality team and the internal Manufacturing Product Quality Engineering floor team.

Leading a highly regarded, well-established team spanning across four countries, this position serves top global enterprise customers across three worldwide manufacturing sites. The ideal candidate bridging this dual scope possesses deep manufacturing process knowledge, strong client-facing executive presence, multicultural leadership experience, and the ability to connect floor operations with strategic customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Dual-Pillar Team Leadership: Direct and empower two core functional arms:

    • Product & Customer Relations Engineers managing high-touch client engagement.
    • Manufacturing Quality Engineers embedded on the manufacturing floor.
  • Customer Account & Executive Relationship Management: Build and strengthen trust with enterprise customer leadership teams. Drive superior engagement in Monthly Executive Reviews, Internal Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to win additional business.

  • Manufacturing Floor & Process Control: Oversee internal product quality on the manufacturing floor. Enforce key quality controls including Pre-Stop processes, Manufacturing Closed Loop processes, Internal/External Audits, and Site Scorecards across all 3 manufacturing plants.

  • Data, Metrics & AI Innovation: Guide the team to monitor, analyze, and elevate critical KPI metrics (FPY, TPY, PRR) by leveraging advanced data analytics, AI tools, and weekly scorecards.

  • Sister Team & Global Collaboration: Partner closely with the sister Manufacturing Continuous Improvement team as well the global Quality, Test, and Supplier Engineering functions to optimize systemic product performance and drive global supply chain initiatives.

  • Lifecycle Quality & Documentation: Ensure the team effectively establishes Process Mapping, pFMEAs, yield target setting, and ongoing quality monitoring strategies from New Product Introduction (NPI) through product end-of-life.
Requirements
  • Leadership & Management: Proven track record of managing engineering teams across global, multicultural matrix environments (spanning multiple time zones and countries).

  • Manufacturing & Product Acumen: Deep understanding of manufacturing assembly, floor processes, and product execution within high-tech hardware or electronics environments.

  • Customer Engagement: Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to represent the company in executive meetings and navigate customer escalations seamlessly.

  • Technical Process Knowledge: Strong familiarity with quality methodologies (pFMEA, FPY/TPY metrics, Closed Loop systems, Audits).

  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
