As the primary administrative support partner to the Administrator of Behavioral Health, you will serve as a trusted resource responsible for coordinating executive priorities, managing complex initiatives, and helping ensure operational excellence. The Role

As an Administrative Operations, you will play a central role in supporting departmental operations and executive leadership activities within Behavioral Health Administration. Success in this position requires exceptional organization, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment.

On a typical day, you will:

• Partner directly with Behavioral Health leadership to coordinate administrative and operational priorities.
• Manage a complex executive calendar, balancing competing requests and resolving scheduling challenges involving multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings with senior leaders and executives across UVA Health.
• Prepare agendas, attend meetings, capture minutes, and track action items through completion.
• Assist with strategic initiative coordination, project tracking, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain organized documentation, records, and administrative systems.
• Support department-wide operational activities and administrative functions.
• Build collaborative relationships across teams while serving as a dependable point of coordination for leadership initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.

Experience: 3+ years relevant experience required.

Licensure: None required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
