About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are looking for a seasoned Security Practices Director to join our Professional Services team, focused on delivering security and compliance engagements that help customers maximize the value of their Salesforce investments - safely and at scale. This role requires deep, hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce Platform in addition to security expertise: you'll guide customers through security assessments, control frameworks, and implementation best practices across Salesforce, including Agentforce, Data Cloud, and core platform architecture.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end security engagements for enterprise customers, helping them design and operationalize secure Salesforce Platform environments
  • Advise customers on security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance posture specifically within the context of Salesforce architecture (org structure, sharing model, permission sets, Shield, Data Cloud, Agentforce)
  • Partner with account teams and sales leadership to drive pre-sales efforts - including discovery conversations, solution scoping, and executive presentations grounded in platform-specific security capabilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior security stakeholders (CISO, CTO, VP of IT Security), translating Salesforce platform mechanics into risk and compliance terms
  • Develop and refine practice delivery methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets related to Salesforce security, leveraging deep platform fluency
  • Support the growth of the security practice by contributing to thought leadership, go-to-market strategies, and team mentoring on Salesforce security best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Trust teams to stay current on the Salesforce security and platform roadmap
What We're Looking For
  • Strong, hands-on Salesforce Platform expertise - deep familiarity with org architecture, data model, sharing and security model, permission sets, Shield, and declarative/programmatic customization (Flows, Apex)
  • 7-12+ years of professional experience, including a meaningful tenure at a Big 4 consulting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or equivalent Salesforce-focused professional services practice
  • Understanding of security fundamentals and controls frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls) as applied specifically to the Salesforce platform
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing Salesforce platform assessment and implementation engagements and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong pre-sales and business development instincts - comfortable presenting to customers, shaping solutions, and closing statements of work
  • Experience delivering security assessments, identity & access management reviews, data classification, or compliance readiness engagements on Salesforce
  • Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Security Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant)
  • Excellent executive communication and executive presence
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Agentforce, Shield and Security Center
  • Experience with zero-trust architectures or cloud security posture management (CSPM) in SaaS environments
  • Additional Salesforce architect-level certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect)
Why This Role

You'll be at the intersection of two of the most important trends in enterprise technology - AI-driven automation and security governance - with deep Salesforce Platform fluency as the common thread. You'll work with some of the world's largest organizations, helping them adopt Salesforce confidently and securely, while building out a practice with real strategic impact.
