THE OPPORTUNITY

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide direct end-user technical support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) contract. In this role, you will support end users at customer sites throughout Virginia and surrounding areas while assisting with PC refresh initiatives and related projects.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, integrated systems, and software at client and field locations. You will also provide technical assistance, instruct customers on equipment operation, perform preventative maintenance, and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT




  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring PC refresh and project plans and schedules.
  • Help ensure project deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Participate in daily PC Refresh Team meetings.
  • Document key actions, decisions, and follow-up items from meetings.
  • Assist in developing PC refresh strategies and standardized tasks and processes for the PC Refresh Team.
  • Ensure refresh and project documentation is accurate, organized, and maintained appropriately.
  • Provide direct technical support to end users at customer and field locations.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, systems, and software.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on equipment operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Support additional tasks and projects as needed.



SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS




  • Associate degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management frameworks and best practices preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of file management and administrative procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION

The salary range for this position is $23-26.50/hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.

Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow's total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
