Summary:

The Staff Accountant role applies principles of accounting and statistical analysis in order to maintain control and accountability in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This role monitors and maintains control of various general ledger accounts, prepares journal entries and detailed reports and analyses reflecting financial status and activities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Minimum of one year of experience preferred in the case of an Accounting or Finance degree. If degree is not in accounting or finance, 1 year of accounting experience is required. .
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong oral, written and organizational skills.
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  6. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Ability to work across departments and with varying levels of management. Additional Skills/Requirements: Ability to maintain confidentiality
  7. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  8. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

The pay range for this position is $61,256.00to $82,867.20per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
