We are seeking a detail-oriented, passionate Editor to join our creative studio in supporting a major pharmaceutical client. In this role, you will safeguard content quality and maintain narrative clarity while navigating strict regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate blends exceptional copy editing skills with a sharp understanding of pharma promotions, product labeling, and medical copy editing standards.

You will play a critical role in driving successful Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review cycles through rigorous fact-checking, precise referencing, and meticulous annotation.

Key Responsibilities



  • MLR Compliance & Submissions: Fact-check, reference, and annotate resources to ensure all promotional materials comply with medical accuracy standards and MLR guidelines.
  • Editorial Excellence: Proofread and copyedit content for grammar, punctuation, flow, and consistency in accordance with brand guidelines and AMA style.
  • Workflow Management: Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency/studio environment while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize electronic markup and review tools to execute revisions and review cycles efficiently.
  • Standards & Regulations: Stay up to date on evolving industry standards, pharmaceutical labeling rules, and client-specific style guides.


Qualifications & Skills Required:



  • 4+ years of editing experience, ideally within a pharmaceutical company, healthcare agency, or creative studio.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience sourcing references and annotating resources for MLR review.
  • Proven proficiency with Veeva PromoMats and Adobe Acrobat Pro (including commenting and markup tools).
  • Deep knowledge and practical application of AMA Style.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
