Technical Training Instructor, Remanufacturing

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on maintenance and/or engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with expertise in a wide variety of technical subjects. They will also have a strong desire to help build and maintain a world class training program in a dynamic industry-defining organization. This subject matter expert will have a passion for teaching others and achieving excellence through instruction and mentoring programs.

• Teachstationqualityandbasicrootcause/problem-solving;assesscompetencewithwrittenandhands-onevaluations
• Partnerwithproduction,process,quality,andengineeringsocontentmatchesreallineneedsandprocesschanges
• TracktrainingcompletionandskillmatricesintheLMS;keeptrainingspaces/toolssafe,organized,andproduction-representative

• Hands-onmechanicaland/orelectricalaptitudeinmanufacturing,assembly,repair, remanufacturing,orindustrialmaintenance
• Provenabilitytolearncomplextechnicalprocessesquicklyandteachthemaccuratelytoothers
• Experiencebuildingorimprovingtrainingcurriculum,standardwork,orjobinstruction(formaltrainerrolepreferred)
• Comfortteachingteardown,assembly,orrepair-typework withtools,fixtures,andworkinstructions
• Familiaritywithbasicrootcausemethods(e.g.,5-Why)andcoachingthemattechnicianlevel
• Clearcommunicationinaclassroomandone-on-oneonthefloor;highbaronsafetyandsign-offstandards
• Self-directed,organized,andcrediblewithtechniciansandengineersinafast-pacedproductionenvironment
