Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for a Senior Office Coordinator in the Department of Surgery's Hepatopancreatobiliary Service at our Upper East Side, New York location. We develop ways to reduce stress and ease recovery of patients after surgery by using minimally invasive techniques, both through robotic and laparoscopic surgery, to treat many pancreas, liver, and gallbladder tumors. The Senior Office Coordinator directly supports a high-volume practice for a senior level faculty member within the Hepatopancreatobiliary Service.

Role Overview:
  • Use your strong customer service, multitasking, and leadership abilities to support the clinicians in our service

  • Provide dedicated administrative and operational support to a high-volume practice

  • Manage a high volume of patient coordination, ensuring seamless scheduling and communication across multidisciplinary teams

  • Oversee and maintain clinical scheduling templates to optimize patient access and workflow efficiency

  • Serve as a senior-level resource within the office, helping to guide workflow processes and support team coordination

  • Handle administrative tasks such as calendar management, travel coordination, and reimbursement requests

  • Provide cross-coverage for teammates within the service to ensure continuity of operations

  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance patient and staff experience

Key Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an office setting; Office Coordinator experience preferred

  • The ability to work independently as well as within a team

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail skills

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, hybrid schedule after training

Pay Range: $26.77 - $40.05 FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
