Primary Care Physician - Family Medicine - Scarborough, Maine

MaineHealth Primary Care is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our well-established outpatient practice located in Scarborough, Maine. Would you like to play an important role in making the care team of the future a reality for the people of Greater Portland?

Position Highlights

  • Practice offers sports medicine, suboxone, and provides both inpatient and outpatient care.

Academic and Teaching Opportunities

As part of MaineHealth Family Medicine, this position offers the opportunity to participate in the education of Family Medicine residents and medical students. Teaching opportunities may include:

  • Precepting Family Medicine residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Mentoring medical students
  • Participating in MaineHealth's academic and educational initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a physician who:

  • Is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
  • Enjoys practicing full-spectrum outpatient and inpatient primary care.
  • Values continuity and relationship-centered medicine.
  • Is comfortable managing complex chronic disease and caring for patients across the age spectrum.
  • Has an interest in teaching and mentoring learners

The annual base salary for this position at a .9 FTE is $231,750.
