D457, Commissioned Ships Electrical Engineering requires an engineering supervisor to lead a group of electrical engineers who provide design and life cycle support of a wide range of electrical systems and components on Navy commissioned fleet submarines. This engineering group, Multi Mission Platform (MMP) Support, is responsible for providing electrical engineering support for the Watchtower Program Office, which oversees the MMP on SSN23. This job will provide for a large variety of work of differing durations, and increased responsibilities and independence as ability and experience supports. Specific responsibilities of this engineering group include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities range from initial system and/or component design, upgrades and life cycle support, to troubleshooting and system and component problem resolution.
