Right At School provides Before & After School, Summer Camp, and Break Camp programs at 1,200+ schools across the country. Our programs deliver hands-on enrichment activities, homework support, active play, social-emotional learning, and more - all guided by a mission to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.

As an Educator, you'll work directly with kids - leading activities, facilitating a safe and structured environment, and building relationships - while gaining valuable experience in education and child development.

Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour (based on education and experience)



  • Program Hours: Monday-Friday After-school: 2:15 pm -6:00 pm, and on any early release days. No WEEKENDS!
  • Location: Located inside two Aurora Schools- Located inside: Altura Elementary School at 1650 Altura Blvd, Aurora, CO 80011, and Highlands Elementary at 1603 E Euclid Ave, Littleton, CO 80121
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday - After-school: 2:15 pm -6:00 pm, and on any early release days. Must be able to work Monday through Friday before and after.

PLEASE READ Experience/Educational Requirements:



  • * 18 years old and a High School Graduate or GED
  • * Must CURRENTLY reside in the surrounding areas
  • * Required availability- Part-Time Monday-Friday (2:15 pm-6:00 pm) NO WEEKENDS!
  • * Start Date: Immediate
  • * State Licensing Requirement-Verifiable experience- 460 hrs w/ group supervising 4 or more children (one-on-one care, nanny, and babysitting do not qualify, must be classroom or licensed group childcare type supervision) of school-aged children (must be in this age range -kindergarten-6th grade)in a licensed childcare location and was able to manage children without supervision; OR

    40 clocked hours training/coursework department-approved courses playground/safety


* Will be able to provide a letter from a licensed childcare type facility showing at least 460 hours of supervising school-age children (kinder-6th grade) and three professional references that will be verified if hired



What You'll Do



  • Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
  • Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you're working with
  • Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed
  • Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment
  • Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
  • Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child's day
  • Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
  • Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
  • Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff

What We're Looking For



  • At least six months of verifiable experience working with children under 13 (preferred)
  • Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills with both children and adults
  • Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to support additional program locations if needed


Texas State Requirements


* High School Diploma/GED


* 18 years of age


* Six months of previous experience in childcare in a group licensed childcare setting or school-type setting (will require verification).


* Live within the listed school district area


* Fluent in English and Bilingual is a plus

Job Requirement
Ideal Candidates will have the following:

  • College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field is preferred not required
  • Ability to lift 40lbs

  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; LIVE Scan Fingerprint, Mandated Reporter training, Health Certificate/ Cleared TB, CPR/FA
