DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports the Small Business Ombudsman Office by analyzing program data, reviewing materials, and assisting with funding and outreach activities. Your work will focus on helping to ensure program requirements are met and providing useful guidance to small businesses across the state. As a Program Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Support: Review Small Business Advantage Grant (SBAG) applications, track awards and payments, and assist applicants with program questions
- Loan Assistance: Provide guidance on Pollution Prevention Assistance Account Loan requirements and review related reports
- Program Tracking: Maintain documentation for grant and loan programs and report issues to the Ombudsman
- Outreach Materials: Help develop and update publications, videos, handouts, and annual reports for the Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP)
- Financial Analysis: Conduct SAP data reviews to prepare financial reports and identify actions needed to support program fund management

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may require travel.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
