Overview NaphCare is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our team in Las Vegas, NV, working every other Sunday and Wednesday day shifts. The position involves providing healthcare services to individuals incarcerated at the Las Vegas Detention Center. Pay rates range from $39.90 to $42.00 per hour. As a Correctional Registered Nurse you will collaborate with correctional officers and fellow medical professionals to deliver quality care to the detained population. You will also oversee nursing staff and operations, serving as a supervisor and coordinator. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact a diverse group of patients with complex medical needs. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse Supervisor coordinates shift activities and performs a wide range of duties, including assessing patients, administering medications, managing emergencies, and ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
Working cohesively with the HSA and DON in the coordination of the healthcare delivery system, as well as other function with the facility
Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
