Director - Merchandising TEquip

TEquipment, a TestEquity company, is seeking an experienced Director of Merchandising to lead our merchandising vision and drive the next phase of growth for one of the industry's leading test and measurement marketplaces. In this highly visible leadership role, you'll have the opportunity to influence product strategy, develop supplier partnerships, expand product categories, and lead a talented team focused on delivering an industry-leading digital shopping experience.

As the Director of Merchandising, you'll be responsible for developing and executing our assortment growth strategy through:

• Strategic supplier acquisition
• Category expansion and endless aisle initiatives
• Digital merchandising optimization
• Product onboarding and catalog growth
• Revenue and category performance leadership
• Building and mentoring a high-performing merchandising organization

This role sits at the intersection of merchandising, ecommerce, supplier strategy, analytics, and customer experience, making a direct impact on company growth and market competitiveness.

• Lead the strategy that expands our product breadth and depth while improving profitability and customer value.

• Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with leading brands and suppliers that help strengthen our market position.

• Improve product discoverability, category navigation, onsite search performance, and overall ecommerce conversion.

• Leverage customer behavior, market trends, competitive insights, and performance metrics to make informed merchandising decisions.

• Mentor and develop merchandising professionals while fostering collaboration across Marketing, Pricing, Product Information, Analytics, and Supply Chain teams.

• 5+ years of merchandising experience, preferably within electronics distribution or related industries
• Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, conversion optimization, SEO, taxonomy, and customer journey strategy
• Experience building scalable merchandising and product content processes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Passion for growth, innovation, and delivering an outstanding customer experience
