Aquent is partnering with a rapidly growing technology company that is revolutionizing how professional services connect and operate. This innovative organization is dedicated to building efficient, data-driven networks that drive real outcomes for shared clients, transforming an entire industry through strategic partnerships and cutting-edge solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to spearhead the expansion of our critical partner network. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, evaluating, and securing strategic collaborations that are fundamental to our growth and success. Your expertise will directly shape the quality and reach of our ecosystem, ensuring we partner with top-tier professional service providers who meet rigorous performance standards. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact, drive significant business development, and contribute to building a best-in-class network that truly delivers value.

What You'll Do:

  • Proactively identify, engage, and secure new referral partnerships with professional service firms across various regions and specializations, expanding our network's reach and impact.
  • Objectively evaluate prospective partners using comprehensive performance data, including conversion rates, client retention, service value, and operational approaches, ensuring all partnerships are grounded in measurable outcomes.
  • Skillfully negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, including contract terms and financial arrangements, to establish mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Maintain a meticulously organized and active pipeline, leveraging consistent outreach and strategic follow-up to progress opportunities from initial contact through to signed agreements.
  • Utilize a diverse set of resources, including internal analytics, professional referral networks, and external relationships, to source and rigorously vet high-potential partner firms.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving by identifying potential challenges early, outlining attempted solutions, proposing clear recommendations, and articulating necessary support.
  • Continuously seek and implement opportunities to enhance existing systems, processes, and overall outcomes, contributing to the evolution of our operational playbooks.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development, with a preference for backgrounds in professional services or legal sectors.
  • A demonstrated track record as a 'closer,' capable of managing the entire sales cycle from initial cold outreach to successful contract execution.
  • A data-driven mindset, evaluating potential partners based on objective metrics rather than subjective intuition or personal relationships.
  • Ability to thrive autonomously in a remote work environment, adept at building trust and credibility through virtual communication channels.
  • Exceptional sense of ownership and self-motivation, consistently setting high personal performance standards and striving to exceed them.
  • Genuine passion for cultivating a best-in-class partner network that delivers tangible, positive outcomes for shared clients.
  • Comfort and proficiency in negotiating complex contract terms and financial agreements.
  • Experience within the legal industry is beneficial but not a mandatory requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities, effective prioritization skills, and a capacity for swift, decisive execution.

Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with 4% company match, HSA, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off (17 days to start), and parental leave.

Eligible for performance-based bonus (approx $50-60K annually, paid out quarterly). Base salary of $110-140K, DOE.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience operating within a fast-growing or high-volume business environment.
  • A high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting to evolving systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with legal, professional services, or client-centric organizational structures.
