Aquent is partnering with a prominent organization dedicated to maintaining critical infrastructure and delivering essential services, and we are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual ready to be the central hub of critical field operations. In this pivotal role, you will directly impact the efficiency of service delivery by orchestrating the daily activities of field personnel, ensuring that vital work orders are managed swiftly and effectively. Your contributions will be crucial in keeping essential services running smoothly for countless customers, making a tangible difference in the community it serves.

What You'll Do



  • Monitor, dispatch, and balance work orders for field personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, responding to information requests and facilitating seamless communication between customer service and field teams.
  • Handle incoming calls and perform proactive call-ahead requests for field technicians to streamline operations.
  • Receive and dispatch non-emergency work orders efficiently to support both daily routines and critical emergency operations.
  • Utilize advanced mobile data and dispatching systems to assign orders effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Track, route, and meticulously document work orders, and review backlogged tasks to ensure timely completion and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate essential operational requirements between various internal departments and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts between customer support, customers, and supervision to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a crucial liaison between the organization, customers, and governmental agencies during emergency situations, ensuring clear and effective communication.


Schedule

This role involves a dynamic and variable shift schedule to ensure continuous operational coverage. You will work a consistent schedule of three 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift per week, including rotating weekend shifts. Flexibility is key to success in this position, as specific shift assignments will be discussed during the interview process.

Must-Have Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or a mobile data dispatching system.
  • At least one year of experience in or supporting field operations, or one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
