Accountant II - Business Services, University Housing University Housing - Business Services Job SummaryProvide professional accounting and procurement support for University Housing operations and administrative units. Independently perform accounting functions involving financial reconciliation, reporting, analysis, and compliance for assigned accounts while coordinating procurement and payables activities in accordance with University, State, and federal policies and procedures. All University Housing staff foster a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative work environment within University Housing. A. Work experience and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field B. College course work and/or training in Accounting or a closely related field including 12 semester hours in accounting * 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months) * Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months) * 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months) * Bachelor's Degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months) 2. A total of two (2) years (24 months) of experience in professional level accounting work consistent with the next lower level of this series. Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of University systems. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 0011 - Accountant II position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 8/17/2026. The budgeted salary range for this position is $58,725 to $63,725. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position. Hybrid work options may be available for this position, with the ability to be on-site as needed per the University's Workplace Flexibility policy.
