Role Overview

The Manager, Reimbursement - Radiopharmacies plays a key role in helping customers and internal teams navigate the complex reimbursement landscape for radiopharmaceuticals. In this role, you will support market access by providing expertise in coding, coverage, and payment across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. You'll work closely with sales and healthcare providers to remove barriers, improve understanding, and support adoption of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on reimbursement for radiopharmaceuticals, including PET imaging and theranostics
  • Partner with commercial sales teams to support customer access, utilization, and reimbursement issue resolution
  • Provide field-based reimbursement support to hospitals, imaging centers, and physician practices
  • Educate providers and staff on coding (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10), billing practices, and coverage requirements
  • Deliver training through webinars and customer engagements
  • Interpret and communicate CMS guidance, including OPPS and MPFS reimbursement frameworks
  • Analyze payer policies, prior authorization trends, and reimbursement changes
  • Support denials, appeals, and claims escalation activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Market Access, Compliance, and Finance
  • Analyze reimbursement trends and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • CPC, CCS, CRCR, CHFP, or CCA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of reimbursement, market access, or revenue cycle experience
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare and commercial payer systems
  • Working knowledge of coding and billing (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10)
  • Experience providing field-based customer support
  • Experience in nuclear medicine, PET imaging, or radiopharmaceuticals preferred
  • Working knowledge of hospital outpatient and physician office reimbursement preferred
  • Experience with organizations such as Cardinal Health, Lantheus, or GE Healthcare preferred
  • Strong skills in reimbursement strategy, coverage and policy analysis, and revenue cycle management
  • Ability to translate complex reimbursement concepts into clear, actionable guidance
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to compliance, accuracy, and ethical standards
