We are currenlty seeking : TheMarket Director for Medical Staff Servicesdirects credentialing, privileging, governance, and regulatory compliance across the continuum of care. This leader aligns medical staff operations for the academic medical center, community hospital, and medical group, ensuring seamless provider onboarding and continuous adherence to quality and safety standards.The Market Directoris responsible for the overall management of the Medical Staff Office, which includes credentialing of the physicians and allied health professionals, development of departmental policies and procedures, development and maintenance of budget and maintaining compliance with all regulatory agency requirements and accrediting body standards. This individual acts as a resource and is a liaison between Administration and the Medical Staff. Coordinates the medical staff meetings with hospital departments and medical staff. Prepares agendas and PowerPoint presentations for medical staff meetings to include transcribing minutes. Communicates and coordinates with physicians, management team, and outside entities to facilitate credentials review. Responsible for the management of all functions of the Medical Staff Office, which includes all physician-related issues in compliance with corporate guidelines, state and local regulations, and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
