The Learning Strategies Center (LSC) is seeking an Administrative Manager. Hiring budget for this position is $66,764/annual, there is no negotiation. This is a full time, 40 hour/week, on campus position (within daily commuting distance from Ithaca, NY). Some hybrid activities are possible, but the employee will be expected to be on campus regularly and frequently. In general, you will work on campus during normal business hours, though along with the rest of the leadership team you can expect to work some occasional evenings and weekends and do some occasional remote work. Fully remote work is not available for this position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Relocation is not available for this position. Who we are: The Learning Strategies Center (LSC) is the central academic support unit for all undergraduates at Cornell University. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of the Learning Strategies Center, the Administrative Manager will have responsibility for business and administrative operations in the LSC and its academic support programs, including the Pre-Collegiate Summer Scholars Program (PSSP) and the Undergraduate Student Veteran Program (SVP). You will hold a key position on the LSC leadership team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Learning Strategies Center and its programs. The position will follow LSC procedure and ensure compliance in areas of finance, accounting and budget, historical program data, and facilities management.
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in business administration, data management, or related field with 2 - 4 years of full-time support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
