As a Security Officer Screening Ambassador in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this visible role, you will help to identify concerns, remain attentive to site activity, and deliver great customer service while working as part of a reliable, agile, and integrity-driven team.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized or unusual activity to help support controlled access at the site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining alert to operational concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
