The Cisco Cloud Control team is building the foundational platform that brings Cisco's cloud-managed and controller-based products together into a unified customer experience. Cisco Cloud Control is redefining how customers operate, monitor, and defend critical IT infrastructure across networking, security, compute, observability, and collaboration. The team is focused on simplifying customer operations, reducing onboarding friction, and creating a consistent platform experience across the Cisco portfolio. As part of this charter, the team is also advancing AgenticOps capabilities that use AI, automation, MCP-based integrations, and agentic workflows to make IT operations more proactive, intelligent, and efficient.

Your Impact

As a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, you will work closely with product management, engineering, customer success, sales, and field teams to shape how Cisco Cloud Control is positioned, adopted, and scaled with customers. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, technical execution, customer engagement, and next-generation AI-enabled operations.

You will help define and drive the technical marketing strategy for Cisco Cloud Control, with a strong focus on customer onboarding, product integrations, field readiness, and customer adoption.

You will:
  • Build demos, technical presentations, solution guides, FAQs, competitive positioning, and enablement material for internal and external audiences.

  • Translate customer onboarding pain points into clear product requirements, technical collateral, and field guidance.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to improve onboarding workflows, integration experiences, and cross-product consistency.

  • Support early customer engagements, design partners, beta programs, and GA readiness activities.

  • Work across Cisco product teams, including cloud-managed, SaaS, and on-premises platforms, to ensure a seamless Cisco Cloud Control experience.

  • Identify adoption blockers, integration gaps, and customer experience issues, then drive them to closure with the right stakeholders.

  • Enable sales, SEs, customer success, and partner teams with clear messaging, repeatable workflows, and hands-on technical knowledge.

  • Represent the voice of the customer and the field in roadmap discussions, launch planning, and prioritization decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in technical marketing, product management, solutions engineering or a related technical customer-facing role.

  • Understanding of cloud platforms, SaaS products, APIs, identity, authentication, and enterprise IT operations.

  • Ability to quickly learn complex technical products and explain them clearly to both technical and business audiences.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, sales, support, and customer success.

  • Ability to create compelling technical content for both executive and deeply technical audiences.

  • Knowledge of Cloud Operations, Enterprise Networking, Security, Observability, or Data Center infrastructure.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with one or more of Cisco platforms such as Meraki, Catalyst Center, Catalyst SD-WAN, Nexus Dashboard, Intersight, ThousandEyes, Splunk, Secure Access, Collaboration Control Hub.

  • Strong communication skills, including presentations, demos, writing, and cross-functional influence.

  • Hands-on experience with MCP-based integrations, AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted operations.

  • Familiarity with customer onboarding workflows, tenant/org management, admin roles, API integrations, and enterprise identity models.

  • Experience working with enterprise customers and field teams to diagnose adoption barriers and drive platform improvements.

  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and customer empathy, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
