The Senior Director, Enterprise PMO will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the portfolio of strategic initiatives to ensure the efficient execution against our business outcomes and objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on leadership experience, particularly in the SaaS industry, who can steer continuous improvement and manage complex cross-functional strategic initiatives across the organization spanning Tech, Marketing, and Global Operations. This is a builder's role designed for a high-EQ change agent who can operate close to the execution while architecting the workflows that allow us to scale.

This leader will also be tasked with fostering a culture of innovation, simplifying the company's operating processes, and ensuring that different departments work cohesively towards common organizational objectives. You will lead a lean, high-performing team of 4 program managers, navigating a matrixed environment to turn complex corporate strategies into velocity and predictable delivery. This role will report directly to our SVP & Chief Information Officer.

What You'll Do

  • Design and execute key strategic initiatives accelerating the execution of strategic objectives and business outcomes at scale

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop compelling business cases for change

  • Improve collaboration, execution and visibility of cross-functional strategic initiatives

  • Ensure end-to-end alignment of functional efforts with strategic operational objectives

  • Reduce delivery timelines and ensure success of all approved initiatives directly or indirectly: exemplary initiatives may include items related to digital transformation, market and/or geographic expansion, commercial offerings, significant compliance & regulatory changes impacting operations, white-glove operations, innovative adoption deal mechanisms, and partnership opportunities

  • Lead the management, implementation, and reporting of large cross-functional programs/initiatives by working across functional leaders to develop roadmaps, plans/timelines, and helping to determine resourcing decisions based on current and future needs

  • Ensure global operations projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and scope, while meeting privacy/security and regulatory standards

  • Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing PMO team

  • Define, articulate, and execute a cohesive vision for strategic initiative delivery

  • Develop an organizational capacity planning model to enable strategic decision-making and prioritizing

  • Develop key operational tools (dashboards, roadmaps, resource planning) across operational initiatives to ensure resources are focused on efforts with highest impact and value

  • Maintain a firm understanding of all programs at a high level-working with the PMO team to mitigate risks, triage issues, and generally problem-solve. Act as an escalation point for the PMO team

  • Develop executive-level reporting regarding status and risks across programs

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in Enterprise PMO and/or Transformation leadership roles, demonstrating increasing complexity, scale and responsibility with bachelor's degree; 10+ years of experience with advanced degree

  • 5+ years of experience leading strategic operations teams, programs and processes at scale

  • Proven track record of guiding B2B SaaS organizations through chapters of rapid growth and transformational change (ideally scaling toward or operating within organizations exceeding $500M+ to $1B+ in revenue)

  • Experience managing a highly strategic portfolio of enterprise-wide initiatives (typically 5-10 concurrent global programs) with substantial cross-functional dependencies across Tech, Product, and Go-To-Market teams

  • Strong conflict management and resolution skills and the ability to build consensus and anticipate and solve problems

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and driving forward-looking strategies as well as presenting to executives and collaborating with team members

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field

  • Personally demonstrates Workiva's culture of collaboration, innovation, talent development and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in a business or technical discipline

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-PMOCP, or equivalent structural PMO credentials

  • Exposure to or experience leveraging AI technologies and modern automation workflows to improve portfolio visibility, predictive risk management, or operational velocity within a high-growth SaaS environment

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

  • Up to 25% travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

How You'll Be Rewarded

Salary range in the US: $203,000.00 - $325,000.00

A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
