This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As aTechnical Project Manager (TPM)embedded within theManufacturing Engineering (ME)organization, you will be the delivery engine behind ourManufacturing Engineering process management drivingstandardization of ME workflows, adoption of enterprise automation and digital tools, and reduction of recurring and non-value-added (NVA) tasks.. Your customers are themanufacturing engineers and the manufacturing organization. Your job is to make them measurably faster, more consistent, and more productive

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive standardization of ME workflows, documentation, and best practices

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage initiatives that eliminate recurring, manual, and non-value-added (NVA) ME tasks, tracking and reporting measurable time savings and productivity gains

  • Establish and maintain a structured process to track engineering changes across the product lifecycle, ensuring visibility, traceability, and timely disposition of changes across Manufacturing Engineering

  • Define and track operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) improvements.

  • Establish and lead the ME portfolio operating rhythm including recurring reviews, gate/readiness checkpoints, and metrics cadences

  • Champion adoption of automation and advanced data-visualization solutions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ yearsof technical project/program management experience, or a Master's degree with5+ yearsof relevant experience.
  • Experience inaerospace, spaceflight, or other highly regulated, low-volume/high-complexity manufacturingenvironments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)or equivalent project/program management certification.
  • Experience managingManufacturing Engineering (ME) process-improvement, standardization, automation, or knowledge-management programs.
  • Familiarity with production readiness standards such asAerospace Standard 6500 (AS6500),Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs), andProduction Readiness Levels (PRLs).
  • Experience standing upoperating rhythms, KPI/metrics dashboards, and standardized program-management processesacross multiple teams.
  • Familiarity withManufacturing Execution System (MES) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)systems andManufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM) / Material Requirements Planning (MRP)workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ yearsof experience intechnical project or program management, ideally supporting manufacturing, production, or engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability tomanage a cross-functional portfolio independently, owning projects from intake through adoption with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstratedchange-management and adoptionexperience (communication planning, training coordination, adoption tracking) for tool, process, or standard rollouts.
  • Data fluency: experience defining and trackingKPIsand building or directingdashboards/data visualizations(e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau), and comfort scopingautomation/scripting/artificial-intelligence-enabledworkflow improvements.
  • Proven ability tolead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, with strongfacilitation skillsto run reviews, drive decisions, and adjudicate competing priorities in real time.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
