About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Technician to join a commercial Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operation supporting commercial aircraft maintenance and component repair. In this role, you'll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and overhaul activities that ensure aircraft safety, reliability, and compliance with FAA and OEM standards. What You'll Do:
  • Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems and components.
  • Conduct operational checks on hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, flight control, rigging, and precision mechanical assemblies.
  • Diagnose mechanical discrepancies and determine appropriate repair or replacement actions.
  • Repair, overhaul, modify, and rework aircraft components to meet FAA and OEM specifications.
  • Follow FAA-approved maintenance procedures, OEM technical manuals, engineering data, and work package instructions.
  • Consult with Maintenance Leads when technical guidance or troubleshooting assistance is required.
  • Inspect completed work, perform required rework, and verify components meet prescribed tolerances and quality standards.
  • Conduct serviceability and functional testing using manufacturer-specified test equipment.
  • Complete maintenance documentation, including work packages, sign-offs, and required inspection records.
  • Submit completed work for Maintenance Lead review and Quality Control inspection prior to return to service.
  • Accurately record labor hours, materials usage, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide operational updates and performance information as requested by management.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to FAA, OSHA, EPA, and company safety requirements.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • FAA Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Aircraft maintenance experience in commercial aviation, general aviation, military aviation, or aircraft component repair and overhaul.
  • One or more years of recent depot-level aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Experience maintaining or repairing aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, rigging, and flight controls.
  • Experience interpreting OEM technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA-approved maintenance documentation.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, pneumatic tools, precision measuring equipment, and aircraft maintenance test equipment.
  • Experience from related mechanical industries may be considered.
