As a Security Officer Driver Checkpoint Monitor in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong customer service and communication skills while supporting daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures, screening entry requests, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support site operations by communicating with client contacts regarding access issues, restricted areas, and emergency response activities while documenting security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
