Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer serving a government education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a public education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly movement of people, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and location leadership by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests during school hours, events, and/or after-hours operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
