Job Requirements:
Our Cooperatives and Condominiums Team is seeking to hire an associate to join our New York City, Long Island, or Albany office. We are seeking a real estate litigation associate, with at least 4 years' experience, focusing on complex real estate litigations and disputes, government investigations, and regulatory compliance matters in New York to join the team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape governing New York's real estate market and will serve as trusted counsel to a diverse client base that includes developers, landlords, cooperative and condominium sponsors, and nonprofit organizations. This attorney should have a solid background in landlord/owner side litigation involving real estate matters, construction litigation, Rent Stabilization Law compliance, the Martin Act, and the New York Executive Law. Experience representing clients in government investigations and enforcement proceedings, including those initiated by the New York State Attorney General's Office and other state and city regulatory agencies is also highly preferred. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
