Requirements Pediatrix Medical Group is offering an exciting per diem opportunity for a Neonatologists to join our team of experienced providers for our practice in Flint, Michigan at Hurley Children's Hospital. 44-bed Level III NICU, with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients A regional referral center offering a full range of pediatric sub-specialties Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, assessing critically ill neonates and administering comprehensive patient care There are residency programs rotating through this facility including OB, pediatrics and family medicine. 24/7 in house pediatric residents Practice has a close working relationship with the University of Michigan and Wayne State and participates in VON and has impressive comparison for various quality metrics About the Area Flint's growing economy, low cost of living and educational and cultural resources make the future of Flint bright with possibility. Qualifications Active MI license or IMLC license preferred Board Certification in Neonatology required A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months) Benefits and Compensation Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
