Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and service-oriented Valet Attendant to join our team at our Luxury Active Senior Living Communities. This position plays a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience to the residents and guests visiting these communities on a daily basis. Our valet team is committed to providing a personalized customer service experience pertaining to the Senior Living atmosphere, while ensuring every vehicle is handled with care, a safety first mindset and professionalism regarding Valet service onsite.

The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, maintains a positive attitude, and understands the importance of treating every resident with kindness, patience, and respect.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Safely park and retrieve resident and guest vehicles in a timely manner.
  • Open doors and offer assistance with walkers, wheelchairs, canes, luggage, groceries, and other personal belongings as needed.
  • Conduct quick visual inspections of vehicles upon arrival and accurately document any existing damage regarding Valet protocols.
  • Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including luxury automobiles, SUVs, and electric vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle location records regarding onsite garage and ensuring all keys are safely secured at all times.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, coworkers, and management.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record regarding Washington State Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Ability to operate both AUTOMATIC and MANUAL transmission vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Friendly, patient, and professional personality.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while keeping a team first mentality.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and remain active for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when assisting residents with personal items.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Previous valet, hospitality, hotel or concierge experience.
  • Experience working with seniors or in luxury hospitality environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Positive attitude with a genuine desire to make every resident / guest feel welcomed and valued.
Shift Opportunities: (Seattle & Bellevue)Seattle Location:
  • Monday - Friday (11:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM / 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
  • Friday - Sunday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Bellevue Location:
  • Monday - Friday (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
  • Saturday - Sunday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Career Growth Opportunities:
  • Valet attendants will have the opportunity to take on added leadership opportunities and apply for the "Town Car" services provided onsite.
  • Town Car Responsibilities: Assisting residents with private transportation to their doctor appointments, community outings, grocery stores, etc...

Physical Demands:

Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.

Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
