Salary: $24.78-27.53 Hourly
Must have a valid California driver's license Shifts available: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm Working on behalf of a major medical client of Aquent, this role performs and coordinates a variety of inventory-related functions to maintain an accurate, efficient, and data-driven supply environment. The Inventory Control Coordinator pulls and analyzes supply data from the Lawson ERP system to make critical decisions regarding par levels, item placement, and stockroom removals. Additionally, this position trains staff on basic inventory management and system usage to help establish a culture of operational best practices.
What You Will Do
- System Management & Analytics: Maintain, update, and ensure the continuous accuracy of Lawson inventory data. Use Lawson to extract and analyze data to support efficient inventory management and root-cause analysis.
- Process Standardization: Prepare standard work documentation for all system processes related to inventory management and location usage.
- Training & Upskilling: Train frontline staff on handheld devices and Lawson functionality tailored to their specific level of access and job codes.
- Demand Planning & Par Levels: Review demand patterns, Days of Inventory on Hand (DIOH), and inventory turns to establish optimum par levels for asset and expense supply locations. Assist with setting up new physical par locations to ensure alignment with the Lawson system.
- Cost Containment & Process Improvement: Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce redundant inventory and minimize costs across all supply locations.
- Reporting & Auditing: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly reports regarding inventory par location utilization and performance metrics. Prepare and audit daily cycle count processes and compile reports to perform root-cause analysis on inventory gaps.
- Issue Resolution: Actively monitor all inventory issues and ensure effective, timely resolution.
- Compliance & Administrative Duties: Process all paperwork pertinent to applicable duties. Perform all tasks in a strict, safe manner complying with organizational safety and infection prevention policies for self, patients, visitors, and employees.
- Emergency Response: Respond to patient and non-patient emergencies according to established facility policies, procedures, and job requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Inventory Mastery: In-depth knowledge of inventory control/management practices, supply chain techniques, and tracking systems.
- Technical & Data Proficiency: Skilled in performing proficient data entry and navigating computer applications to enter, access, utilize, and maintain financial/inventory information.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to learn new problem-solving techniques and apply them to real-world environments.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored for a demanding, customer-focused work environment. Ability to promote a positive culture through teamwork and diversity awareness.
- Time Management: Ability to work efficiently and effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines while maintaining strict attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of dedicated inventory control or inventory management experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
- CADL - California Driver's License (Valid and in-state).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24.78 to $27.53 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
