Salary: $24.78-27.53 Hourly

- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
- Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
- Be able to work the following schedule: 5 days/week, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Have a valid California driver's license
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to step into a crucial role focused on optimizing our inventory processes. In this position, you will be the linchpin in maintaining an accurate, efficient, and data-driven supply chain. You will leverage your analytical skills to transform raw data into actionable insights, directly influencing inventory levels, item placement, and stock room management. This role offers the chance to not only manage inventory but also to shape best practices, train staff, and drive continuous improvement, ensuring that vital resources are always available when needed. Your impact will be felt across the organization, contributing significantly to operational fluidity and cost-effectiveness. What You Will Do:
- Maintain and regularly update inventory data within our inventory management system, ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Utilize the inventory management system to extract and analyze data, supporting efficient and effective inventory management and root cause analysis.
- Develop standard operating procedures for all system processes related to inventory management and location usage.
- Provide training to frontline staff on handheld device usage and the inventory management system, tailored to their access levels and job functions.
- Analyze demand patterns, days of inventory on hand (DIOH), and inventory turns to establish optimal stock levels for all supply locations.
- Support the creation of new inventory location setups, ensuring accuracy within the system.
- Implement process improvements and systems designed to reduce inventory and minimize costs across all supply locations.
- Generate reports based on inventory location utilization and key metrics, providing daily, weekly, and monthly insights.
- Monitor all inventory-related issues and ensure their effective and timely resolution.
- Prepare and audit daily cycle count processes, generating reports for root cause analysis of any discrepancies.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner, adhering to organizational safety and infection prevention policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain all work and break areas in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
- Engage in professional and self-development through internal and external educational opportunities.
- Process all paperwork pertinent to applicable duties.
- Respond to emergencies according to organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other related and incidental duties as needed or required.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Experience: Three (3) years of inventory control experience.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of inventory control/management practices, techniques, and systems.
- Skills:
- Proficient data entry and computer skills for entering, accessing, utilizing, and maintaining related information in a variety of software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, improve, and adapt to new challenges.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24.78 - $27.53 an hour.
