Veteran & Active Duty Transitioning into Civilian Life Hiring Workshop - UC San Diego Health

At UC San Diego Health, we are committed to supporting veterans and active-duty military members as they transition into civilian careers. Your success matters to us, which is why we have invested in programs and resources designed to help you achieve your professional goals.

The Health Human Resources Department will be hosting a two-hour "How to Get Hired" Workshop on Thursday, May 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the UTC area.

During this workshop, participants will learn about:

  • The UC San Diego Health application and hiring process
  • Resume writing and optimization tips
  • Interview preparation strategies
  • Career opportunities within UC San Diego Health

The session will also include a Q&A segment, breakout rooms for individualized resume feedback, and opportunities to participate in mock interview practice with recruiters.

Please note that this is an invite-only workshop for veterans and active duty transitioning members. Based on the level of interest, an additional virtual workshop may be scheduled at a later date.
